Previously dark suburban home, this residence transform into modern fulfilled natural light house with deluxe resort type atmosphere, especially at the expansive backyard garden. With new open structure volume, this interior house has series of layered spaces, connect each other with ceiling or and ornamental architecture as the border. At frontage garden house exterior, pergola-like volume structure with strong character design balanced by soft minimalist garden. The entrance area has double height structure and interesting atrium hall gallery equipped with louvred windows for ventilation, so the natural air easy to flow into the house. The expansive garden in resort style equipped with swimming pool, built in daybeds, dining areas, outdoor showers and a hidden outdoor powder room, create series of indoor/outdoor living with the house building in glazed structure. Wooden planks outdoor wall and tropical plants along with massive wooden decking, concrete, stone and marble create chic modern garden. The interior basically perform in white color, enlivened with wooden décor, certain dark furnishing. Compact white open kitchen has marble finishing. Designed by Bower Architecture.

Definition of Ideal city is beginning of from a long seeking. Plato defines it as a mirroring from life in world space basing on the relation of man with the humanity (London, 2000). Farther, he also defines it as a political and social organization structure facilitating member of its developing potency they and coexists as according to humanity value and truth (London, 2000). This loft interior refurbishes to create more cozy and warm modern living way. Modern and rustic interior sense created. The basic white interior colors, dark flooring, certain dark furniture in living, white kitchen design, combine with wooden logs and wooden clad décor appearance, black spiral staircase and raw bricks wall appearance, added with printed paper wall décor in black, make typical urban loft typology interior has interesting atmosphere. Creative architectural creation is series of sliding doors walls that define the bedrooms, master bedroom, child/daughter bedroom, and bedroom for baby/toddler. This sliding wall partition architectural strategy makes every bedroom has access to natural light and ventilation. Built on sloping hill terrain with beautiful valley panorama, this existing modest rural house has been renovated and new simple-box volume and outdoor swimming pool along with its decking terrace added. The existing house refresh up, using local materials building like stone walls, the pine paneling, wood doors, windows, balconies make the building look more lobely. A simple bew box volume construct with simple flat roof coatings Corten steel, make the box structure seem like a container of industrial products. There is connection structure that linking the existing house and new box structure. The new container-like structure consists of dining and kitchen area, with minimalist interior style. Double plate counterwall plasterboard cladding and steels kitchen appliances work perfectly, create elegant modern kitchen-dining custom-designed interior. The dining area directs connect with outdoor deck terrace and swimming pool in glazed sliding doors. Consist of basement floor and ground floor, this modern restaurant interior design is really inviting. Pink and red colors combine with modified oak ogee moldings, add with soft lighting create warm, cheerful, and cozy atmosphere in ground floor. The oak ogee creation is interesting, beside as wall cladding and seating and table restaurant furniture, the oak materials manipulated become form of coat hooks, lamps, carved clock. Gloss pink panels become attractive ceilings, develop with brick pattern framework. In basement floor, darker restaurant interior created with black gloss, grey and reclaimed teak, giving more intimate and romantic atmosphere. In special room, red glossy wall cladding becomes main décor. This restaurant interior concept is tried to combine traditional British cafe interiors with Thai food served. Description of Noyack Creek by Bases Masi Architects:
The client, a New York actor, sought a retreat for relaxation and casual entertaining on a restrictive narrow lot fronting the tidal estuary of Noyack Creek. The house became study in architectural theatre: a series of spaces in a carefully scripted sequence that subtly reflects his professional life.

The path begins at the front door where perforated privacy screens slide apart like a curtain, revealing the loft-like living and dining spaces. The direction of the deck boards that make up the flooring is altered to demarcate the path through the space, emerging seamlessly to an exterior waterside deck. A broad stair to the second level, parallel with an interior stair along a glazed wall, acts as tiered seating for entertaining and looking at the water view beyond. Beneath the stair, hidden backstage for maximum privacy, the guest room shares the water view through a nearly hidden sliding door. Guests emerge as if through trap door. (more…)

Designed by y+Mdo, the Japanese house design is created with maximize natural lighting. Called Sumikiri House, this home design is situated within a residential buildings area where there are existing older tenement houses in Amagasaki-City, Hyogo-Pref, Japan.

A plain-woven iron grating on the exterior home façade of the Sumikiri house suspend the corner of the missing and creates an interesting mix between transparency and privacy. Although the grating serves as a partition wall, it provide a brightness and a perspective with interior where is not large.

This Sumikiri House in Japan, reached a moderate distance and the relationship between the homeowner and their neighbors. The house design of the corner cutoff and plain-woven grating achieves both transparency of perspective visibility and secured privacy in addition efficiently utilizing the narrow site.
